The same six tunes as scores, read bar by bar — every note out of the cartridge.

Q-Taro the ghost flies over town eating to keep his power up and barking back at the dogs he fears, with hidden stages up in heaven and down in hell — Bandai’s Famicom game, Chubby Cherub in America, and six tunes.

Nothing here was transcribed by ear: every note was read out of the cartridge and is played by an emulated NES sound chip — two pulse waves, a triangle and the noise channel, each on a keyboard of its own.

The music and the game belong to their composers and publishers; this site only shows how the cartridge plays it, for learning.
